Allah all seeing

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Assalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barakaatuh اللهم صل على محمد وآل محمد

Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) is referred to as “the All-Seeing” 42 times in the Qur’an.
This is a source of comfort and ease for the believer. As Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan's addict I have learned one thing. When something repeats in the Qur'an it is for emphasis and because it is something we as humans keep forgetting the most.
Sadly how often do we forget that Allah see's us 24/7.
When we are praying.
When we are crying.
When we are hurt.
When we are horrible and hurtful towards others.
When we are happy.
When we are obeying him and when we are disobeying him.
He alone is a witness enough to everything good and bad we do. Some Ulema have said it is from the mercy of Allah that He still allows us (meaning our own limbs as witnesses) and other people as witnesses - although to pass our judgment He azza wa jal needs absolutely no one.
For the believers, knowledge that Allah sees and hears all things is a reassurance and comfort.
Allah says: “And put your trust in the Mighty, the Merciful, who sees you when you stand up (to pray) and your bowing in prostration with those who bow down.”
{Sūrah al-Shu`arā 26 : Verses 217-219}
It comforts the heart to know that Allah sees and hears us when we beseech Him. It strengthens our resolve and fortitude in the face of all obstacles and sorrows.
When Allah sent Musa (Moses) aleyhi sallam and Haroon (Aaron) aleyhi sallam to confront Phirawn (Pharaoh), He comforted them with the words:
“Indeed, I am with you, hearing and seeing.”
{Sūrah TāHā 20 : Verse 46}
Likewise, Allah reassures Prophet Muhammad salallahu aleyhi wasallam saying:
“So wait patiently for your Lord's decree, for surely you are in Our sight.”
{Sūrah al-Tūr 52: Verse 48}
When we know that Allah sees and hears everything we do, it encourages us to be more devoted in our worship, more righteous in our deeds, and kinder to others.
This is why Prophet Muhammad salallahu aleyhi wasallam said:
“Excellence in faith is to worship your Lord as if you see Him, and though You do not see Him, know that He sees you.”
[Sahih Bukhari]

The more aware we are that Allah sees us, the greater our efforts will be in our worship. An employee will work harder, more productively, and more conscientiously under a manager’s watchful eye.
How much greater is the effect when we know we are being watched by our Creator who sees and hears everything that we do? This consciousness will help us in our humility and our devotion in every act of worship that we perform and inspire us to do righteous deeds so we can please our Lord.
Next time you worry about something remember this example.
If a mother is watching 24/7 over her baby does the baby have any need to worry? She will tend to all of her baby's needs in the best of way.
From the Sunnah we know Allah's love for us is way more than a mother's.
Do you think Allah will let anything bad happen to you under His watch?
